about

Just an impromptu idea, exploring the idea that cavities are holes, but not the only kind of holes we have in our head, that we can clean or let fester, literally, or figuratively.

lyrics

Where will they take me?
What’s "gone under"? where’s it go?
Who is the doctor, what’s his name?

Is he nice to children?
why do I have to do it now?
I want the gas that makes you laugh...

Holes in my head, so many, it's incredible,
I only ate the butter-scotches and the blue Smarties...
Cavities, I have them,
Cavities, Probably a million,
Cavities, Holes in my head, Holes in my head...

A hole or a hollow, like the nasal or the ear,
A pit in a spot on a tooth, caused by decay,

Holes in my head, so many, it's incredible,
And each one has a purpose, sometimes only one God sees
Cavities, I have them,
Cavities, Probably a million,
Cavities, Holes in my head, Holes in my head...

Use the brush, You can do it literally,
Use the brush, or even figuratively,
Use the brush to clean your holes...
Use the brush, I mean it, Use the brush, I mean it,
Use your brush to clean your holes...
Use the brush, to clean out your holes...

Got holes in my memory, parts that I guess I burned away,
I sugar coat my mental defects till they rot...

Holes in my head, so many, it's incredible,
I sweeten them with metaphors and tired analogies,
Cavities, I have them,
Cavities, Probably a million,
Cavities, Holes in my head, Holes in my head...
